Sarah Fischer

After 7 years of grad school at Indiana University (much of which I've shared on this channel!), I have returned home to Miami, FL, where I work as an Assistant Professor of Writing Studies at the University of Miami. My PhD is in English (rhetoric and composition), and my research focuses on multimodal composition and embodiment, often through the lens of social media and vlogs. I use this channel think about my ideas out loud with you all 🤍 Through my academic lifestyle vlogs, I aim to demystify academia (grad school, the dissertation, the job market, teaching, etc.) and show you that a work-life balance is possible 🤍
