Haris Alexiou is one of the most important and popular Greek singers/songwriters with a 50-year-old career.She has worked with all leading Greek songwriters/composers,has performed at top music theatres all over the world and has received several awards.She has a huge back catalogue of solo and feature albums.She first appeared on the Greek music scene in 1970s.Her charismatic voice,combined with a unique way of performing and a strong stage presence,very soon led her to the top.Throughout her career,she has collaborated with remarkable artists and very important songwriters like Mikis Theodorakis, Manos Hadjidakis, Manos Loizos,Apostolos Kaldaras, Yannis Spanos, Thanos Mikroutsikos, Manolis Rasoulis, Christos Nikolopoulos, Lefteris Papadopoulos, Nikos Antypas and Lina Nikolakopoulou among others.She has released over thirty solo albums,with over 12 million sales, many of which have gone gold and multi-platinum. In most recent years,Haris Alexiou has focused on her theatrical career.
